#12

THIS IS THE TAIL OF CAPTAIN JACK SPARROW.

Shadows are fascinating. You can do so much with such a simple thing. Like this picture above, for example. Those parts are cropped from photos I thought were failures. I don't know about you, but to me it looks pretty cool. If this was to be taken further, I'd love to paint that exact same thing, but paint in its in-perfection of course would give it a whole new level.

Hmm maybe I shall do that sometime...

Hey soon it's the labours day ! Everyone excited and fully booked for it? I know I'm not.. Tomorrow I've got great plans to go to the library for the whole day. Got to love this: ) but no I am not skipping school in order to be able to study in a library -(which sort of would make sense)- but because we were at school on one Saturday and now we've got the free day back:) whee ! Anyway, it's weird how everyone's up for the labors day... I never remembered it was such a big deal in Finland. :o Like, when I go to the center of Helsinki people are all dressed up and stuff.. It's sort of cool :)

Jellyfish 8--)
Got no special plans for Tuesday... except going for a picnic with my brother and his wife :) which of course is exciting, since I haven't done that in a long time mainly because of the snow (duh) and in SL it was too hot and not much spaces to spread a guilt and be in a quiet place anyway. But on Tuesday many people will be picnicking anyway so probably won't be that peaceful:D anyway - awesome.

I'd love to climb on a tree right now with a friend and drink some tea and eat carrots and cucumber.

As it can probably be concluded from these pictures in this blog, I've lately been very fascinated about capturing water. Water - as everyone probably knows - moves fast when thrown:) Making the movement stop and see the features, movements and shapes the water creates while flying across is something gorgeous which cannot be seen with a naked eye.

So this is what I did today..

You have no idea how long that took to get the water with the CD. Of course with an awesome and irreplacaple help of Minttu we could somehow pull it off but it was not easy:D But hey, at least we had fun even though we sort of got wet and maybe perhaps possibly gained weird looks as this process took place in the middle of a road:)

HAVE A NICE LABORS DAY or as finns call it VAPPU, peace :)

Life is amazing

Introducing the first flowers!

Spring is here and everyone is excited!

As proven by an amazing fact of the ability of drinking coffee outside the school building with no jacket, the feeling of spring and warmth of the sun cannot be explained.
People seem to be nicer, smile to strangers (which of course, is a depressing thought because in no other times of the year people seem to smile this much..), and just be happy:) The sun is a buddy.

How did I spend the amazing weather?

Me and my TOK presentation partner planned our TOK presentation! HA. but it was fun. yes. Because we went to sit on a rock outside and have a superinterestingtopic. Official nerds we are:) Oh and I also stayed after school till 6:30pm to finish up my artwork:)

Life is good... Summer is soon but a lot to do before we may let it in:) Nobody stress out!

I hope you all took a huge advantage of the amazing weather !
Muahaa.

Peace !

Get funky

Get creative with stuff! Let's see... You've got so many tools you can do anything with. For example, a camera. Even if you feel like you've got a crappier camera than all the rest of your friends, think about this:

  • People with super cameras get nice pictures even if they have no talent.
  • Even with a limited camera properties, you can take nice shots:)
  • Never think you have any boundaries when it comes to being creative --> use any tools available such as editing on computer, creating a collage, anything! Don't delete the 'picture fails' right away, but think what you could use it for.. It might turn out to be pretty cool after a bit of editing;)
  • Photography as well as any process of art is all about FUN!

Have fun :) peace!

Social life and sleeping. (anti-IB)

I love my friends and family.
Need I say more?

Yes I do. Because not too often you actually get to stop and realize what you've been blessed with! So stop and realize! Even if it is just one person in the whole wide world that is important to you - might be your mom, your dad, a sibling or a friend - you've got a person who cares about you and you care about them. Yee!

THUS

I have important news. Peeps from my class went to a class trip (which I wasn't taken to!!:FDLSAFJKAS because I'm not in the history class duh) and I missed them a lot 8----) They are BACK and I'm happy.

I was encouraged to say that due to great influence of Petra thank you. She also wanted me to point out a great fact, that sleeping is awesome.  Due to this great, very convenient point made by a genius friend of mine, I went online to look for interesting facts about sleeping.

Sleeping...

  • Improves memory
  • Helps to live longer
  • Spurs creativity
  • Improves sport performance
  • Improves grades
  • Sharpens attention
  • Helps maintaining a healthy weight
  • Lowers stress
  • Avoids accidents

Peace out and sleep well! <3

Textile marker + Cotton Bag

I shall gratefully greet you, great visitor and friend.

So as the title probably pretty clearly explains (and as followed by the picture above), I've found great joy of decorating boring cotton bags. The first one (which has no picture because a) it has not completely been completed and b) because i do not want to show it yet mainly because of the reason a)) was made because my friend asked me to decorate a bag for her, so she bought the bag and a marker:) I made the one above because I got super excited, and happened to find a lonely cotton bag from a second hand store - perfectly in a good condition - and decided to make a good use of it.

Now that I think of this cartoon put up here, I bet you'll are gonna compare my version of megusta to this one above. SCREW YOU.  My version is my version, and in my defense, the scales are not properly shown in the picture .__. One does not simply compare a piece of art to a thousand-times-copied-and-pasted internet character.

So, why are cotton bags so freaking awesome?
They...

  • Can be recycled
  • Are strong and durable
  • Are cheap to produce
  • They seem to be 'the big thing' these days (That's not a reason to like something though, no no.)
They save the environment! What could be better...Of course there is no black and white choices when it
comes to saving the environment (or at least protecting it) because some of the bags are made from materials that use fossil fuels etc etc etc but but (when talking generally about those reusable shopping bags that use e.g. polypropylene) yea.

Peace out and get a textile marker and make those boring bags funky. yea.

YES I'm super attractive. thus I reduced the size of the photo.

And I realize that I sound like one of those american (or any?) xoxoxoxo girls (no offence to anyone), I'm just missing a "love ya'll honnayyss" which I should probably add.

ps. The cartoon is from the derp & derpina fan page from fb. and source was http://www.greenlivingtips.com/articles/283/1/Reusable-bags.html.

I love the countryside.

What would be a better place to spend Easter, but at the countryside with family and friends? I can't think of any, especially when in general, the fields and forests just simply win when they're compared to the sea of buildings, brick walls and roads.

I'd love to at least live next to a forest! It's one of the awesomest feelings to just take a walk, perhaps climb a tree and just listen to birds singing..whoo. And of course you should always take a camera along!

Always have awesome music in the car.

Now a very relevant thought for the day,

"I think that I shall never see a poem lovely as a tree."
Joyce Kilmer

Muahah.

Peace.

Easter!

I love the time of Easter as a season because that means, that summer is soon! I love it when the snow melts and the nature awakens...(ladies and gentlemen, introducing my poetic side). This time though, I see no spring coming when the freaking snow wont leave!!! I remember the time I waited for the snow so badly... sigh. No, now don't get me wrong. I like the snow, but I don't like it when it's supposed to be gone and it's still there! But hey what to do, complaining wont help:)

The spring and Easter specifically should be remembered for it's real meaning, which is the resurrection of Jesus Christ:) So let's celebrate!

Some thoughts of today:

Here dear ladies and gentlemen - a handle.

An unnecessary picture of a candle, trying to represent the
awesome colors of spring. ya.

This picture is obviously here to tell you all,
that the earphone only stays in my left ear,
it won't stay in the right. It's annoying.

Coffee - the joy of the morning.

The forbidden sweets.  (8 months left bileet)

Peace !
