Art and Ice hokey

BE PREPARED for a long long blog post.

First I would like to say that i've been super busy with stuff so I have not been able to post things that require posting, so here they all come in one post! I hope your week's been good and you're excited about the holidays starting soon! YEe !

First of all, something I had to tell you, and which I mentioned about in the last blog post; Noora and I had to prepare a TOK presentation (all the IB fellows out there - yee), and we decided to get creative and created a piece for it! We did make quite a mess...

But hey! It doesn't matter even though we did think, that if our art teacher (or any outsider) would be there to witness this incident, they wouldn't be too happy. Of course we did have one witness, Khoa. But he won't tell anyone:) muaha. We did have a lot of fun though!

Cleaning this up was alright because making the mess and on the side a piece of art (of course this could be questioned, considering our TOK question of "What makes abstract expressionism art?") with awesome people around, was all good:). but anyway, here's a picture of the outcome which doesn't really do justice to the piece...because it was presented in a much better during the presentation than the way it's shown here...

but to get some sort of an idea, boom:

MOVING ON TO the next topic, which is the mother's day. It was the best in a long time, we went for a picnic to a forest and this is a small collection of the many pictures I took to resemble my feelings about the trip:

Then the last thing but definitely not the least.

I WENT FOR AN ICE HOKEY GAME with Keshia:).

And for people who don't know how much this World Cup means to finns, if you're a sri lankan or understand the concept of cricket in Sri Lanka, that's how big it is. We won last year and the boys as a hometeam this year are getting a lot of cheers and pressure :)

So the game I went to see was Kazakhstan vs. Finland.

The atmosphere was awesome and cheering with people in the actual arena was incredible :) the funny thing about this of course is, that I am a person who doesn't usually watch much sport games, but this has got me all caught up! Like today, when USA played against Finland (and for those who don't know, Finland won and USA left home:)) ...muaha.
