Summer and Jelly Dreams

Aloha dear friend.

By looking outside at the moment, is hard to fully understand that the summer holidays started. Luckily we can recall the warm weathers from about a week ago, drag them into our mind and simply have a little imagination play and everything seems much better.

Today when I was going to a graduation party of a friend of mine, something happened when I sat down to the comfortable seats of the train - we were speeding up and suddenly a guy bumped into the train, against the very window I was seated next to ! I could literally see his facial expression of horror!!! So we stopped, and people started screaming that he got ran over. What went through my mind? I thought, if that dude died (because it was a pretty hard hit) I could have been the only one who saw his face for the last time when he was alive. Luckily after a while the staff informed that nothing too serious happened.

So today when I got home from the graduation party, I got very inspired by the funky light patterns (and my new dress) coming from outside... That should explain the pictures below. (Later on I added some more light because it was getting dark outside muahah.)

I was going through my mom's computer and found my Gimp2-drawn images from about two years back:D!
I decided to show them to you... I have no idea why but maybe this will inspire you to do something like this as well (It indeed is fun I shall explain how I did these because muahah I cheated a little)

So what I did was, I had a picture (this is the cheating part) of my friend and my mom as one layer in Gimp2 (which is like Photoshop, a little more limited maybe but easier to use. It's free for downloading and preeetty cool;)). I added a layer on top of that and made it transparent, so I could draw ''on'' the picture (even though it actually does nothing to the original picture, just to the layer on top of it so when you hide the actual photo you can just see the outlines).

I should probably try this again and hope it'd turn out a little better than these:D but of course when you got just rough outlines like this and all, you could start the shading and other cool stuff to make it look like it took a little more than... very little time.

I know I'm jumping from a thing to another, please forgive me. But I've got a picture to show you (surprise surprise):

It's in finnish (duh) and it says "Food not weapons" which I find quite inspiring.
This is of course a typical hippie peace protest :) No wait why a ''hippie protest'' why does everything to do with peace have to be associated with hippies? Isn't the worldpeace everyone's issue and target (i certainly would wish it was, apparently not looking at the news...) Do you need to be a hippie to want world peace? (nononononoonooo)

(but all the hippies out there I like you:))

.....just throwing a thought into the athmosphere dam-dum-daaa-dadadaa. That was a drumroll.

Anyway,

peace!
and have a great great start of holiday and do not let the weather disturb the fun okay :)
